As those who attended Ben Westlake's concert two weeks ago will know, Ben and his brother James were being filmed as they played.  This was so that their performances could be uploaded to Youtube.  Cathy (their mum) has told me that the films are now up on Youtube:

Ben played very well at the Woodwind final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, but unfortunately did not get through to the Grand Final (a flute player got through instead, apparently partly because her programme included mostly modern music, whereas Ben's did not).  Ben and James are willing to return to St Mary & St Giles later this year to give another concert, this time for the Organ fund - it is sure to be another treat, so watch this space.
