Autumn Tea Dance

Preparing refreshments

On Sunday 5 November St Mary & St Giles School north site hall was filled with music and dancing feet as SMSG church band played for its second tea dance of the year. With Lesley conducting and once again with the help of guest drummer Jack Fisher (who plays for dances a lot) we got the tempo of the dances right for the dancing couples and provided them with plenty of music for an enjoyable afternoon of exercise (with refreshments).

Tea for two

Refreshments during the tea break were served at the tables around the dance floor and the band had our own special table of food. The last dance of the afternoon was dedicated to Dave (piano) and Fiona (refreshments) who were celebrating their Wedding anniversary that week.

Thank you Lesley for organising another fun tea dance. We raised £351 for organ maintenance.
