Third Thursday @ 12:30pm Lunchtime Concert on 16th March 2023
The lunchtime concert today was played by Geoffrey Allan Taylor (piano) and Valerie Kirby-Ashmore (violin).
Entitled ‘Presentiment to Spring’, the concert featured pieces by Beethoven, JS Bach and Grieg, as well as compositions and arrangements by Geoffrey and Valerie. The programme included gentle, calming music as well as hints that spring was bursting forth. There was even the sound of the cuckoo!
We are very grateful to Geoffrey and Valerie for playing this concert for us and for their continued support for our music programme. The audience was very appreciative and we look forward to hearing these two fine musicians again.
