I'm pleased to announce that we're starting a new season of the popular Musical Bites shortly.

The first Musical Bite is a Percussion workshop, this time lead by Caedmon Salter. It takes place on Saturday 16th October from 10.00 am - 12.30 pm in St Mary & St Giles Church, Stony Stratford. Refreshments will be served all morning (tea, coffee, cappuccino and delicious cakes) for anyone wanting to come in and listen (and for the musicians), and there will be a performance by the budding percussionists at around 12 noon, as well as a drumming solo by Caedmon. We're also going to have the Piano Key Raffle again which is a fun way of adding additional cash to the baby Grand Piano fund. If you want to try percussion at this event, it is advisable to book your place in advance - please do this via the organ fund website.

Musical Bite 2 on Saturday 13th November is a repeat of the enjoyable Sing-along-a-lorra-songs which we did last November, and Musical Bite 3 on Saturday 11th December is Choral workshop lead by James Wharton.  This was an absolute hit last time, as singers from all around Milton Keynes came to try their voices in the acoustics of our church.

Musical Bites in January, February and March are currently being arranged and will be announced soon.

All these winter coffee mornings with a Musical theme are to help pay off the remainder of what we owe on the baby Grand Piano.
