Fadin’ Shoes gave an early evening concert on Sunday, 8th December.
It began with hot drinks and nibbles, for anyone out to see the lights on a cold winters’ afternoon.
Fadin’ Shies began their first set with ‘I’m dreaming of white Christmas’ and continued to keep the audience swaying and smiling with the likes of ‘Beyond the sea’, ‘The Streets of London’ and ‘Rocking around the Christmas Tree’, also featuring tunes by Django Reinhardt and The Beatles.
Their love of playing and sharing their music is a great inspiration and source of enjoyment for the audience. Lovely arrangements of well known songs are always crowd pleasers and at Music for All @ SMSG we have been fortunate to host quite a few of Fadin’ Shies concerts. They give their time and talents freely for donations for the upkeep of our Fr Willis Organ and the Greater Access Project, which will make the west door of the church an entrance for all.
A big thank you to Andy, Tim, Les and Roger for a thoroughly enjoyable time!
