Our next concert for the baby grand Piano fund is taking place next Saturday 6th March. However two of the three performers are no strangers to our Church, as they led the Brass workshop Musical Bite in January.

This time however Julia Benham will get a much bigger chance to show of how lovely our piano sounds when she plays preludes by Chopin, just a few days after the 200th anniversary of his birth (1st March). Ian Facer will be playing his Trumpet (the blow part of the title) and will be treating us to music by Stanley, Saint-Saens, Torelli, Fiala, as well as the well known Hummel Trumpet Concerto.  The bow part of the concert is Maurice Cavanagh's musical offering on his Violin. Maurice will be playing music by Beethoven and Brahms.  So we are in for a real musical treat.

We are serving refreshments as usual (including wine) and entry is by programme (£5, concessions £4 with under 16s £1).  You can purchase your vouchers in advance from Odell's shop in Stony Stratford, or contact Dai Evans on 01908 561984 jandaievans@yahoo.com
